This prototype is an interactive 3D drone configurator and product manual designed to help users understand how a modular drone is assembled and customised. It allows users to explore different components, configurations, and states of the drone in real time, rather than relying on static diagrams or PDFs.
The interface focuses on clear visual hierarchy, smooth camera transitions, and context-aware labels so users can see how parts relate to each other as they're added, removed, or adjusted. This approach is aimed at making complex hardware more approachable for both operators and technical support material.
Tech stack: Three.js, React, React Three Fiber, Blender.
